The Kansas Suicide Prevention Coalition (KSPC) is made up of four subcommittees, each with a different focus around the same goal. Our subcommittees meet each month for one hour to share resources, build tools, and explore ways to reduce suicide and promote mental health in Kansas.

Systems of Care

The Systems of Care Subcommittee works to strengthen connections between a variety services to ensure coordinated, person-centered support for those at risk of suicide. Our goal is to improve access, reduce gaps, and create a seamless network of care across the lifespan.

Community Engagement

The Community Engagement Subcommittee builds awareness, fosters partnerships, and empowers community members to take an active role in suicide prevention. We work to amplify voices, share resources, and create inclusive spaces where prevention efforts are visible, accessible, and embraced by all.

The Resource Development Subcommittee works to share suicide prevention tools, training, and information widely throughout the community. Our focus is on making resources easy to find, easy to use, and accessible to everyone who needs them.

SUrveillance, Research, and Evaluation

The Surveillance, Research, and Evaluation Subcommittee collects, analyzes, and shares data to guide and improve suicide prevention efforts. We ensure strategies are evidence-informed, tracks progress over time, and identifies emerging trends to inform future action.
